Is personalizing your vanity much like personalizing your office desk? A picture here—a knickknack there. Or is there more to it—accessorizing perhaps?
Decorate Your Decor
A scarf or two artfully draped over a corner or two of your vanity mirror; some ribbons or special made knobs on the drawers; a one of a kind material upholstering the vanity stool seat; these are ways of personalizing your vanity table. And of course let’s not forget color. Black enamel or nickel finishes on metal frames or your basic stained wood say next to nothing about their owner. Painted in bizarre colors or patterns however, a vanity can make a statement all its own.
To Each Her Own
This isn’t to say that the metal frame, plain or ornate, vanity can’t be personalized. If you’re of a darker nature; chains, black scarves and sticky spiders can—at the very least—make people wonder. A bare metal frame can speak volumes as well, as long as no ornate design is present to overbear the stark severity of the statement. The brighter side—psychedelic, flowers, streamers and colorful scarves can brighten up a room as much as you do when you walk in.
Some stickers or decals around the corners of the mirror will not get in your way and can help in personalization. Having a makeup vanity that you love, is all about You!
